Route 2 at Baker Avenue Extension in Concord was closed Monday, July 20, after a motor vehicle crash, the Concord Police Department reported at 12:27 p.m. on its official social media accounts.

The road was fully reopened later that day with traffic operating normally in all directions, the department confirmed on Facebook. Police thanked the public for their patience during the closure.

The Concord Police Department has not released details about the number of vehicles involved, whether anyone was injured, or what caused the collision.

The same intersection required at least one other road closure in 2026. On Monday, May 25, the department posted that Route 2 at Baker Avenue Extension had reopened after a prior closure. The nature of that earlier incident has not been confirmed.
