Concord-Carlisle's golf team beat Winchester 233-269 on Thursday, Oct. 8, with Jake Erston firing a team-low 36 to pace the Patriots.
Three teammates were right behind him. Co-captains Glen Murdough and Joe Grasso each carded 38, and Jake Jones matched them at 38. The four scores combined for the Patriots' 233 total, 36 strokes clear of Winchester.
Concord-Carlisle Athletic Director Aaron Joncas posted the results after the match, confirming the team's record at 11-3.
The win came one day after CC beat Bedford 238-277 on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Tate Miller led that match with a 37, while Grasso shot 38 and Jones added a 39. Joncas had flagged the Winchester match as a significant test in his post after the Bedford result.
The back-to-back wins pushed the Patriots from 10-3 to 11-3 in the span of two days.
Concord-Carlisle entered the season defending its co-Dual County League (DCL) championship, and the team has posted a winning record in the league's first year under a new stroke-play format. The DCL switched from match play to stroke play for 2026, according to the Concord Bridge.
The Patriots locked up a Sectionals berth on Sept. 24 with a 229-239 win over Acton-Boxborough at Quail Ridge, a result that improved their record to 8-1 overall and 7-1 in DCL play at that point. Since then, the team has gone 3-2 to reach 11-3.
Several familiar names have powered the lineup all season. Erston, Murdough and Grasso were among the top scorers in a September win over Waltham and Newton South, according to the Concord Bridge. Miller posted an even-par 35 in a win over Weston, and co-captain Sophie Redmond recorded a hole-in-one in that same match.
Concord-Carlisle hosts Senior Night on Tuesday, Oct. 13. An opponent and tee time had not been announced as of Friday, Oct. 9.
