Concord-Carlisle volleyball dropped to 2-14 after consecutive straight-set losses to Acton-Boxborough, Weston and Wachusett Regional, leaving the Patriots outside the state tournament qualifying positions heading into their final three matches.
The Patriots ranked No. 43 in the MIAA Division 1 power rankings, which include scores entered through 4 a.m. Oct. 23. That report lists Concord-Carlisle at 2-13, before its loss to Wachusett later that day.
The top 32 teams qualify regardless of record. Teams below that cutoff can qualify for a play-in game with a .500 record or better. Concord-Carlisle cannot reach .500 with its remaining schedule, though the rankings are preliminary.
