Concord Center merchants will line the sidewalks with sales and specials on Saturday, August 1, when the Concord Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Summer Sidewalk Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Two live music acts anchor the afternoon. Becky and the Swingin' Bards perform on Main Street near the Visitor Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the Lincoln Traditional Jazz Band plays on Walden Street during the same hours, according to the Chamber's event listing.

The League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle will staff a civic engagement booth in front of the Visitor Center, offering voter registration and information on the Massachusetts primary ballot.
